Adandé Belarmain Fandohan holds a PhD in conservation biology and natural resources management from the Université d’Abomey Calavi (Bénin Republic). Currently, he is an associate professor of forestry at Ecole de Foresterie Tropicale, Université Nationale d’Agriculture, Bénin. He is the recipient of several international awards and fellowships including the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation - Georg Forster (HERMES) Research Fellowship for Postdoctoral Researchers, the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) – Research Fellowship for Distinguished International Young Scientists, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences - Postdoctoral Fellowship for Distinguished International Young Scientists. Since 2008, his scientific activities have yielded thirty-eight (38) scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals with ISI Web of Science Impact Factor in the Thomson Reuters Journal Citation Reports, fourteen (14) publications in peer-reviewed international journals without impact factor, three (03) dissertation reports (Engineer, MSc, and PhD degrees), and three chapters in books and proceedings.
