Bio/Description

Bertin Guede Kipre completed his master’s degree in 2005 at KNUST in Kumasi-Ghanae.  He was a senior lecturer of analytical chemistry at the National Polytechnic Institute Houphouet Boigny in Yamoussoukro (Côte d’Ivoire) from 2006 to 2012.  He has been a senior research scientist at Institut Pasteur Côte d’Ivoire since 2019. He has also been conducting research at Institut Pasteur Côte d’Ivoire since 2013 and is involved in a joint research program on multidrug resistance bacteria that led him to a PhD in phytomedicine at the University of Nangui Abrogoua, Côte d’Ivoire. His areas of interest and expertise include antimicrobial multidrug resistance, molecular biology, phytopharmacology, pharmacognosy, nuclear magnetic resonance, and high-speed countercurrent chromatography. In addition, he is a Fulbright Research Scholar of the Columbia-Missouri University in the USA, where he joined the ResearchGate network in 2015 and became an Open Researcher and Contributor (ORCID). Back home, he is an active member of the Microorganisms' Resistance to Anti-Infectious Drugs Observatory in Côte d’Ivoire. At a national level, he is currently the Organizing Secretary Officer of the National Executive Secretariat for Antimicrobial Resistance Surveillance and Response Plan. It cannot be left unmentioned that he is first an author of several publications, a reviewer of research articles, and he has participated in international conferences and workshops.
