Bio/Description

Dr Céline AZEMAR is Professor of Economics and Director of the PhD Programme, at Rennes School of Business since September 2020. Céline is interested in the impact of international corporate taxation and bilateral tax treaties on multinational firms' behaviour, including location, investment, and income shifting, as well as the nature of tax competition, in both developed and developing countries. Among other journals, she has published in the Journal of Public Economics, Journal of Comparative Economics, Canadian Journal of Economics, International Tax and Public Finance, and The World Economy. Prior to her appointment at Rennes School of Business, Céline obtained her PhD in Economics at the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and was Professor of Economics, Deputy Head of Economics and Director of the Centre for Development Studies at the Adam Smith Business School, University of Glasgow.
