Stephannie Adinde is a development economist, writer, and researcher. She currently works as a strategy consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Nigeria, where she provides advisory services to public and private sector clients to help them solve important problems.   

Stephannie is passionate about bridging the data gap in Africa, informing and influencing data-driven policymaking, and improving development outcomes on the continent.  

She has authored several articles on key development topics including climate change, fiscal management, gender equality, governance, inclusive growth, infrastructure development, and public health. Her work has been featured on her blog, Stears Business, London International Development Centre, and the Centre for Policy Studies amongst others. 

Her broad expertise is on the political economy of natural resource governance, poverty alleviation, social inequality, public policy and economic growth and development in developing nations, with a regional focus on sub-Saharan Africa. 

Stephannie has a first-class degree in Economics and Politics from De Montfort University, Leicester and a Masters in Emerging Economies & International Development from King’s College London.
