Professor Demba Diallo received MSc and PhD degrees in electrical and computer engineering at the National Polytechnic Institute of Grenoble, in France in 1990 and 1993, respectively.
He is currently a full professor at Université Paris-Saclay and conducts his research activities on renewable energies, microgrids, fault diagnosis, and AC drives with the Group of Electrical Engineering Paris (GeePs).
Professor Demba Diallo is an IEEE senior member (SM05).
Since 2018, he has been a visiting professor at Shanghai Maritime University.
He has supervised 18 PhD students since 2000 and is currently supervising 8 PhD students. He has also published 180 papers in high standard journals and conferences, five book chapters, and three patents.
He is currently the elected Director of the National Research Group on Electrical Engineering (CNRS GdR 2994).
He has also served as a member on more than 20 PhD jury panels (France, Algeria, Denmark, Norway, Tunisia) and has appraised several national and international projects.
