Bio/Description

Fydess Khundi-Mkomba is a Lecturer in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics at Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) in   Malawi. She is currently a doctoral student in Renewable Energy with a working thesis title of “Household Analysis of Energy Transitions and Inequalities: A cross-country study of Rwanda and Malawi” at the African Centre of Excellence in Energy for Sustainable Development, University of Rwanda. She also holds a collaborative MSc in Development and Natural Resource Economics from Norwegian University of Life Sciences in Norway, Makerere University in Uganda and University of Malawi, and a B.Sc. in Agricultural Economics from University of Malawi. Her research interests include energy justice for equitable public service delivery and impact assessments of renewable energy technologies towards energy poverty alleviation in developing economies (especially eastern and southern Africa).
