A Sciences Po. (M.Sc. in Economics) and Paris-Sorbonne (M.A. in Political Philosophy and Ethics) graduate, Marion studied abroad in South Africa (Monash University‘s Ruimsig Campus) and in the United States (Loyola University, and DePauw University). Upon graduation, she worked as a project manager fostering economic partnerships in Lao PDR, and conducting research social sciences studies on infectious diseases in Western Africa. 

Marion is currently a second year PhD student at the Aix-Marseille School of Economics (AMSE), in Marseille, France. She develops an adaptation of the health capability paradigm to investigate the hepatitis B epidemic in rural Senegal. She works in collaboration with the Economic and Social Sciences of Health and Medical Information Processing (SESSTIM) research team, and the University of Pennsylvania Health Equity & Policy Lab (HEPL). Marion is particularly interested in issues related to health inequalities and access to healthcare services, in both theoretical research and empirical data collection tools and methods.
