Swafiyudeen Bawa is an instructor and researcher in the Department of Geomatics at Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria, Nigeria. He earned a PhD  in Geomatics from the same institution in 2019, and an MSc degree in Surveying and Geoinformatics from the University of Lagos (UNILAG) in 2015. He also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics from ABU in 2010. Swafiyudeen Bawa is also a trained teacher by profession. His current research interest is on Gravimetric/Physical Geodesy and Satellite geodesy.
