Tizié Bene is a second-year PhD student working under the supervision of Professors Yann Bramoullé and Frédéric Déroïan at Aix-Marseille University. His research interests are network economics and game theory. His doctoral dissertation aims to look at the demand for formal insurance in situations where friendship and kinship act as informal safety nets.
