Yahaya Abbas Aliyu has been an academic staff with the Department of Geomatics, Faculty of Environmental Design, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria since the year 2011. He attained a BSc degree in Land Surveying; MSc Remote Sensing and Geoinformation System from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He completed the PhD Geoinformatics degree from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. His research interest includes land surveying, remote sensing and geoinformatics. He is a certified Land Surveying practician with the Surveyors Council of Nigeria (SURCON). He enjoys lawn-tennis and intelligence-oriented motion pictures.
