The Policy Seminar aims to promote scientific evidence-based decision making in the African continent. During the seminar, the speaker provides an overview of their work on a broad policy question, from the perspective of either the social sciences, agricultural and environmental sciences, biology and medicine, or the mathematical sciences. Interdisciplinary being a foundational characteristic of the PASRC, the speaker is encouraged to attempt to build bridges between the four areas of expertise of the Council.
